Montpellier Gardens

We were commissioned by Cheltenham Borough Council to carry out an extensive restoration to Montpellier Gardens.  Montpellier Gardens is an important part of Cheltenham’s Regency landscape and was originally used as a pleasure garden by patrons of Montpellier Spa.

The project included the restoration and transformation of the derelict proscenium building into an art exhibition centre. Provision was also made for new and refurbished play areas including skate-boarding facilities, climbing frames and tennis courts.

The project remained open to the public throughout the construction period and scored high marks from the Considerate Constructor Scheme (CCS).
