The CompanyHaving started his career as a local jobbing builder, Basil Wyatt founded the company business in 1956 on the principles of delivering high quality construction and building strong relationships with clients. More than fifty years on, these principles are still at the heart of the business today. Design and BuildWe offer a design and build service from inception to completion. We prepare cost plans and budgets, ensuring that we work closely to the client's brief in order to fulfill their aims. RestorationThe restoration of historic buildings is one of our specialties. We directly employ a team of highly-skilled traditional craftsmen for restoration and refurbishment projects. As a consequence, the work produced is of the highest quality. We are members of SPAB. CommercialWe have worked on a number of prestigious office developments which often involved working to tight deadlines and requiring specialist facilities. EducationBasil Wyatt & Sons have a long association with new build and restoration projects for schools, colleges and universities. We are experienced in producing first-class construction on time, under the constraints inherent on campus sites, and particularly in sensitive areas such as libraries and laboratories. Social HousingWe have worked on a number of schemes for housing associations, both large and small, and understand the needs of clients in this specialised area.
